{AD3:Design} Art as Inspiration

In this brief the students were required to research a number of artists or art movements of their choice. They then had to choose one which would inspire their design for a Jug. The jug then had to be constructed using, cardboard, papier mache, plaster paris, etc.

This images below give a quick glimpse of the jugs while in the construction process.

{AD3:Design} Advertising Poster

Following on from their drawing block, students were required to use their drawings as a starting point. These drawings then formed the theme for their poster design. All students followed the design process of research, brainstorming, thumbnail sketches and final execution of poster. The posters are A2 in size.

{AD2:Design} Urban Poster


In this brief the students were required to design a poster using the Urban environment as their inspiration. The words 'Urban Life' had to be incorporated into the design and the poster had to depict a personal response to the theme. Students had to choose which medium would best portray their message, photography, illustration, computer generated, montage, etc. All the posters are A2 in size.
